Positive Futures

Positive Futures – Our Parenting Support Programme

Our Positive Futures project funded by the Big Lottery supports the relationship between parents / carers and children through community based practical workshops and classes.

Our Approach

Parent and Carer Workshops

In relaxed, informal settings and supported by experienced Tutors, you will be able to share
experiences and take part in workshops with other parents and carers.

21st Century

How do adult’s childhood experiences differ from what children experience in the 21st century? This course helps you to gain an insight and understanding of childhood today as well as exploring the range of opportunities for children and young people in the local community.

Adult and Child Workshop

These workshops will include information sharing and practical, fun experiences with your child, accompanied by helpful handouts.

Healthy Outlook

Discover the fun of healthy eating with your child, by working and learning together to create exciting, fun recipes. Aimed at all ages.

10 sessions has been devised to capture different aspects of health related topics. Parents and child participation in these sessions are aimed to provide time with your child, learn from others, share ideas and meet other parents.

Creative Play

Get involved and play with your child through a range of creative activities, which can be done at home and won’t break the bank. Aimed at all ages.

Messy Play

Aimed at the younger child, messy play involves the interaction between adult and child through the exploration of sensory activities.
